A Bit of a Rough Spot

Looks like we're going to be closed this weekend folks. We'll have to see what the plan will be for the the coming weeks after that.

Yesterday I was riding my bicycle home from the bakery with a baguette under my arm. It was a beautiful afternoon and I was feeling very much like a "paysan boulanger".

Then I had a bit of a fall.

Actually a reasonably good fall.

Okay so I broke my wrist, sprained my elbow and generally banged myself up. The ground seems to have gotten much harder and further down than I remembered.

We'll be closed this weekend for sure. I'm pretty sure I can do a lot one handed and there are a few things we've been wanting to try out so we'll have to see about next weekend.

Luckily the baguette was fine. We just ate it with a bit of butter, brie and tomato. So good!

(Mostly) worth it to sacrifice my arm for a fresh baguette.
